Wow that's beautiful. Does John Fante write like that? I must get some of his work. I find it really difficult to read fiction - maybe bcos I haven't found anything to really draw me in. I like Graeme Greene.

Thank you for posting this. I read "Ask the Dust" years back when I heard you were producing this film, and I wondered what became of the project. I love what Joyce Fante says in this video about distinguishing between John the writer and John the person -- forgiving the person, but having more admiration for the writer. Such must be the family life of an artist.
