hey girl! sorry it's been ages since we talked. I am quite busy at the moment because I am doing an internship at the moment and don't have a lot of time to go online at all. But I have seen the Boogie Woogie trailer of course :) and I wanna see this movie!!! Lookes really interesting. But we have to wait for the dvd I think. Gillian didn't win the award, that sucks! She was great in her part as Nora....Did you watch it online? I totally missed it :( Well, anyway, so how are you doing?

Bonjour! So you could not get on biglight at all anymore? Do you know why that was? Because I had problems too because somehow the address has change to biglightnetwork.ning.com. So my bookmarks would direct me to the wrong page the whole time :D
Skype is a chat and phone program. You can download it at skype.com, it's free. You can talk to people through it and when you have a webcam, you can also see them. It is very practical when you wanna talk to someone who is too far away to call him on the phone because through skype, you don't pay anything. A group of philes met on skype saturday night and chatted about the Believe Again-Event and we got live-updates from the event, too :) It was for all the philes who were too far away to actually be there.....like us :)
My profile pic was taken at the X-Con in Ocotber, you heard about that? It was a convention in Berlin. I was there and it was soooo great!! They had this plastic figures of M&S there, so we took a lot of pictures with them :)
University is ok, a lot to learn and keep in mind lol

I saw a book but it's so expensive. I can't afford it. Anyway a phile here is selling some of his old X-Files stuff (books, calendar, etc.) I'm going to buy some. This is my chance.

god, it feels like ages since your last message and I haven't answered you yet, sorry! well, I have problems with my computer at the moment, I got a virus and I probably have to format it and start and install everything new, but at least I managed to save my files.
Anyway have you seen the new fotos of gillian from Sarajevo film Festival? I just saw them now and also watch the interview with her where she is takling about possibility of XF3! She is lovely as always :) the links are posted here on biglight in the gillian in sarajevo forum if you haven't seen them yet.
So, how are you doing? I hope you had some nice summer days in France, it has been incredibly hot here the last days, but I had a chance to go to the beach yesterday and that was fun. today it has cooled down a little bit.

congrats to your daughter for her baccalaureát! is her time in school ended now? I think it is comparable to the german Abitur, the final exam we take at the end of school time, right?

Gill's Beckham encounter...well, I think she told it on leno, it was backstage at the concert and Victoria Beckham was walking by with all her assistents around her and she was wearing her collar of her shirt or whatever up and Gillian turn the collar down in some kind of not very-well-thought reaction. Gill said Victoria turned around and looked at her as if Gill hab just slapped her ass :D Later she learned that Victoria NEVER wears her collar down adn Gill said now she is responsible if Vic was in some worst-dressed list this day :)
Well, I think, she did it right, I hate people who always wear their collar up, these are always a certain type of people who think themselves better than others......
do you already have the big book? that remembered me that I still have to order it!

again very sorry, that it is more than a week and I haven't answered you yet, shame on me. I somehow forgot about it....
that's a funny story about your myspace-page :D and I agree, very shameful that he did not recognise her! did you tell him who she is? well, of course she is gorgeous :)
so XF3-Army: there is a campaign going on to make Fox greenlight a third XF-Movie. I didn't know that but there has also been a campaign for the second movie, they were writing postcards and emails to 20th century fox and told them how much they wanted a 2nd movie. that campaign was called "create the future" (after the 1st movie "fight the future"). so the people from xfilesnews started a campaign now for the 3rd movie and it is called "believe in the future". it is large campaign with a lot of regional fansites joined (I know the german xfiles-mania site joined and I am pretty sure the french xfiles-memories did, too). they already started the first 2 steps, wich are 1. send postcards and 2. make a vid. it is all planned like where to send the cards and they have a special concept for the vids. in july there is gonna be a IWTB week with some stuff to be done. all for making fox allow a 3rd movie. I know the participation is big. All the infos are on www.xfilesnwes.com. I think they have also a XF3-Army profile here on biglight.
If you cannot see any vids here you might wanna check out youtube. the majority of the videos are there. do you have a youtube account? If you got one, add me :) I am 86triangle there.

yeah, I am a lot better in reading french than in speaking. I mean I had 3 years of french lessons in school, so there should be something left of this :)

oh oh sorry, je suis désolé que je n'ai pas récrire jusqu'aujourd'hui (was that right a little bit? :) I have to say my reading skills in french are not that bad but I suck in writing/speaking). well, anyway I made two video for the xf3 army campaign for a third xf-movie (if you haven't heard about it, go check out www.xfilesnews.com or ask me^^), that took so much time, I had never made a vid before. I uploaded them on my profile.
yeah, deadalive is a good episode, gillian is stunning in it, she makes you feel scully's pain. well, I like the tragic movies, so I like gillian's very much :)
well, I also don't have german subtitles on my bleak house dvd, but it also helps to have the english subtitles on and read what they are saying, that helps a lot for the understanding of it, at least for me it did. but if you have any more questions, feel free to ask :)
I checked out skyrock and I was even able to read your blog in french (yay :)). I don't think I will post any pics of me, my family or friends there, I don't do this on the net, but if you need my help with anything about gillian, I'd love to help you out.

my weekend was very nice, the weather was so good, we went to the park to be in the sun. but the weather is supposed to get bad tomorrow....we'll see.

so funny that you write about bleak house, I just finished it yesterday! I had the 3 last episodes to watch and only wanted to see one but then I could not resist and watched them all. I truly amazed by this production in a whole and gillian in special. the bbc knows how to do good period drama and all the actors are very good. gillian continues to amaze me with her acting, she has only few lines in this drama but you can she all her inner turmoil, confusion and despair in the look on her face.
and yeah the wet hair in the end........ well, I knew the ending before, I read the book before I got the dvds. I like it when it end dramatically and when it makes you sad, this shows how good the movie was. like the house of mirth which made me really upset and I never cry at movies!

about the fainting: if you mean the one at the beginning when tulkinghorn reads out the piece that nemo copied, I think she fainted because it was the first time after he had gone to the war that she heard of nemo/captain hawdon and that he was alive and near. I guess she probably thougth he was dead in the war or lost at sea or something since she never had heard of him again. so this came quite as a shock for her, I think. Her fainting also was pretty much the start of all the mess and her downfall to follow because it was what turned Tulkinghorn's attention to it. otherwise he would have never known about it. I f you have problems understanding what they say in bleak house (I had my problems too, with the heavy dialect) I recommend you watch with english subtitles, it really helps when you can read what they say. I also do this with my xf-dvds when I don't understand what they are talking about at all.

I have to say I never paid a closer look at gillian's tattoos. I know the one on her ankle and on her wrist (trust no1 :)) but I don't think I have ever seen one on her hip, what does she have there?
I am thinking about getting a tattoo a lot recently as well :D but I cannot quite figure out what I want, I also have some non-xf-related motives in mind. And I don't think you are too old for a tattoo, if you had gotten the tattoo earlier you would still have it now, right? so that does not make any difference, I think.

yeah, I like roadrunners, gilian is very strong in it, very good acting. I always say I don't just like her movies because I am a fan but also because she just is a stunning actress, and that's rare.

It was the same with me, I had noone who would go to london with me to see A Doll's House. I think I could afford it, I saved some money. next time we go together :) And I already been to london once, so I can show you around. you would love the city, I have been there for only 6 days and I am in love with it :)

http://xfphotos.fredfarm.com). I like the epi a lot. it is very scary although it has nothing really mysterious about it. maybe that makes it even scarier. and I like how scully saves herself in the end and is not portrayed as a weak woman who has to be rescued.

I have to admit that I was always a little afraid of watching "Never Again". I read a lot about it and it was always said how scully was shown in a very different way and I was not completely sure if I wanted to see that. But when I saw the episode a couple of month ago I was stunned!! It became one of my favorites. Gillian's acting is so intense it almost hurts you watching it, especially the very last scene, one of my favorites of the whole show!
since then I am thinking of getting the bettie page tattoo of the episode....maybe you have seen the photo of Neveragain here on biglight in the forum, she got the tattoo, a little changed in the color, it looks even better now very nice. I like the pin-up motive in general.
I can understand why you didn't wanna make the tattoo then. but maybe you try again now :)

For the weekend I was in Cologne visiting a friend, so sorry for my late reply, but I had not much time to go online there. we had a lot of fun and it was the first time in cologne for me, I like it very much. maybe i post some pictures the next days.

I spent the last hour reading reviews of ADH in the british press, xfilesnews.com has posted all the links. now I think I would like to see the play for some scenes that were described in the reviews, I am curious :) they really should make a dvd! although I know that it is very hard to transfer the atmosphere of the theatre to the screen, but anyway :)
