"East Coast Correspondent and In-House Insomniac."
That's my unofficial title at XFN -- officially, I'm a site manager and a news contributor -- and who am I to argue with that kind of accuracy? I'm the person who breaks the news (and sometimes the site) when sane people are fast asleep. I live for big news days, caffeine, and snark and satire. I am happiest in crisis-mode.
My X-Files history goes something like this: In June of 2006, I was in the mood for a new fandom. I thought Stargate: Atlantis could be my soul mate, but I misread the TV Guide and ended up catching the last forty-five minutes of "The Truth" instead. I was hooked from that moment, and I watched the entire series in the course of a month. The next thing I know, it's April 2008 and I'm sitting across a table from Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz.
I guess you could say I don't do things halfway.
