Hello Matt. I'm the girl who foolishly called you Mark at Starbucks.... I'm so sorry! I knew your name, but then I know a few Marks but no Matt, and it just came out wrong. So sorry. Then, I wanted to apologize to you while you were signing the book for me, but I got to talking with Chris Carter, and just completely lost my mind. I hope you understand... I'm so embarrassed right now. I didn't even tell you how much I love the book! Thank you, thank you so much for writing it!

Not sure if you remember I was the guy that expressed disappointment for not being able to make it to the Book Soup signing as I found out about it an hour before it started. Thanks to Book Soup, I was able to have them ship me a signed copy of the book. It'll be a pleasure to be able to shake your hand and personally thank you in person.

I´m not sure if you remember me, but I was the girl who mentioned the missing page in The Big Book at the last book event.

I am out of the country and will not be attending this Wednesday´s book event. I was wondering if I could ask a question of you, and perhaps you could share it with the attendees?

Due to time constraints on the last book, there were multiple errors. I´m sure there will be a final revision before the 2nd edition goes to print, so would it be possible for fans to "beta read" sections of the book before it goes to print?

Thank you for doing another book event. It gives fans a second chance to see you and Frank, and to get their books signed. = ) Hope to see you at the next event.

Hello fellow Big Lighters!

On May 19, 2009, Big Light's social network turns one year old. Please up us celebrate the 1st anniversary by joining us in a party.

Since we are a worldwide fandom, and taking a cue from the XFN project, this will be an international project.

Using the creative talents of Anelisse, Gomnitus, and Yellowbee, please submit a video (or photos) telling Uncle Frank of the positive experiences you've had here with folks on Biglight. These can be Phile events you have been part of, finding other Philes in your area, or thanking him for creating this site. Entries can be solo or with a group; in your native language or English.

We are anticipating a HUGE turnout, so please read and follow the submission guidelines below.

Guidelines:

- videos must be a maximum of 20 seconds
- no .MOV files
- if you have photos posted on your BL page and wish them to be used, please let us know via email

The deadline for submission is APRIL 30, 2009.
