strange hobbies

Well well... I guess everybody has something strange... as hobby.
Mine is that I collect toothpaste from all over the world. The good looking ones, you know? For children, or just nicely designed.
So ... this is somehow also a request. Everyone who knows such a thing from a store near him/her... contact me *g* I am serios. I want to make a collage with all my favorite toothpastes. A whole wall with those. So it would be so great to collect them really from all over the world. Just colourful, with flowers maybe, animals or children on it... don´t mind, just nice and unique ;) So if you have some ideas, I would be delighted to be contacted, give you my address, send you the money for all and ... make my "art" *lol*

So, now am curious what comes from you, what strange hobbies you got ;)

That’s interesting)) I’d like to take a look at your collage when you make it. If I see something original I’ll let you know;)

I collect my pupils’ funny expressions and mistakes (mostly in English). If it’s a mistake, we correct it, laugh at it and then we never stumble when we come across with some similar case (emotional response that works on)).

There’s a girl who’s very fond of herself . In a test paper there was a task to open brackets and put the verb ‘to be’ in a correct form. And there was a sentence ‘Sugar [to be] sweet’ (as we were just studying the topic ‘Meals’). She tried so hard to do her best that instead she started to conjugate the verb. So later I read:
“I am sugar sweet .
You are sugar sweet.
He is sugar sweet.
She is sugar sweet.
It is sugar sweet.
We are sugar sweet.
You are sugar sweet.
They are sugar sweet.

conclusion: everybody is sugar sweet! “ (children must be able to express their opinion on issues we touch upon with, make conclusions))

When we study the topic ‘Appearance’ almost everybody pronounces ‘duck’ hair instead of ‘dark ‘ hair, it’s like a curse… (Russian interference -- as in Russian we don’t subdivide vowels into long and short ones). So now half of the class has ducks on their heads instead of hair (the other half are blonde)))...

Well since my Phile collection would not be considered a strange hobby to you guys, I would have to say my other odd hobby is that I collect Buddha statues, which people find odd in that I was raised Catholic. My whole house is a collection of sorts as my husband is a film student so we have art and film all over the house, then I have two children who have their own collections of things ranging from rocks to dream catchers and then there is my collection of X-Files stuff that I've had since 1993 which is really cool when my boys see it and immediately go X-Files!

HEY, I collected stamps once, too. But I guess I don´t have my collection any longer... I will have a look at my parents house, though. If not - I could offer of course the latest ones ;)

I myself only am interested in the PASTE, not the brushes *g* I love those well designed once, in kiddie-style, you know? =)
